CapraKoza is officially moving! Our herd (oh, and our family too!) will be relocating to South Dakota. We have been blessed to live in the beautiful foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, but God has called us to the prairie and we trust He has better plans than ours! So, to make our move more manageable we are going to have to trim back, but (believe us when we tell you) these choices were agonizing as we were not planning on selling any of them. We've decided to concentrate on some specific lines, therefore the animals that we are selling are by no means less desirable. We also have several adult breeding quality Muscovy ducks for sale.

We also have several adult breeding quality Muscovy ducks for sale. See our sales page for availability. Do keep us in your prayers for a safe move and I hope we can continue to serve your goat needs. Although we are heading north, our hearts are still warm for our southern friends and the Nigerian breed: We will continue to be active in the registries and show circuits. We are never further away than a phone call or an email!

Coming soon: Anatolian Shepherd Puppies...
CapraKoza is delighted to announce that we will be taking reservations for Summer 2012 puppies, depending on how much interest we generate. A beautiful Anatolian Shepherd, One Shepherd Farm Hayal's Freedom is a working show-quality Livestock Guardian Dog out of a sturdy line of healthy working animals, having good hip-joint conformation (she is OFA certified). Freedom resides with us here at CapraKoza and is co-owned with Amy Rollins from One Shepherd Farm in Tennessee, an experienced certified dog trainer and long-time breeder of working/show-quality Anatolians. Freedom is an excellent guardian of the goats- she surprises us with her capabilities. If you are interested in reserving a puppy or more information , please contact us!

We raise purebred Nigerian Dwarf Dairy goats on our family farm.  We strive to breed for suburb quality and excellence in milking and conformation.
Nigerians are powerhouse milkers and fun to show!.  Because of  their docile, friendly temperaments and their small size, Nigerian Dwarf goats are very easy to handle, even for children, and also make wonderful pets.

Here at CapraKoza, besides free-range pasture forage, we provide our goats with the highest quality of feeds which includes mainly Alfalfa Chaffehaye, a mixed-grass hay, and Purina Goat Chow. We provide both a top quality Irish Kelp from Countryside Organics (www.countrysideorganics.com), and a loose mineral that was formulated especially for goats by a UT vet, given free-choice. Our goats also enjoy occasional treats of pine bows, organic banana peels, cantaloupe and pumpkin rinds.

CapraKoza Farm is currently  located in northeastern Tennessee only a very short distance from Kentucky, Virginia and North Carolina. We are within a days drive from anywhere on the east coast! See the note above about our farm moving.
If you've never been to a show before, I highly recommend it!  Shows are a great opportunity to see and meet a variety of breeders, learn more about the Nigerian breed and what makes a show-quality animal, and simply have fun! Also, we do not charge a delivery fee for animals picked up at shows.

All animals of age are tested yearly for CAE and Johnes as of June 2009.

December 2011 Whole herd Negative CAE, CL & Johnes
All our animals are purchased from reputable herds and we routinely test.
